Consultation to Schools, Agencies and Organizations

I provide one-time and ongoing consultation to schools, service agencies, advocacy organizations and training programs on a variety of topics, including

• collaborative problem-solving with people who engage in unsusual activities
• school and community inclusion
• staff development to foster practices consistent with the organization's mission and philopsohy
• creating abuse-resistant environments for both staff and the people they serve
• facilitated communication
• person-centered planning and creation of circles of support
• fostering the human side of human services

My consultations, like my training workshops, are highly interactive.  I never come offering solutions, but instead bring my patience and curiosity.  I usually assume that the staff and other agency personnel I support are already doing good work under challenging circumstances, and may benefit from an outsider's perspective.
